Spring Radio Daze
The first fine, sunny day after a series of storms which brought us cold rains and hail. New leaves and flowering trees make a haze of the horizon.
A culmination of a winter and spring spent studying for and earning a ham radio license, and learning how to use our new single-side band radio: this message comes to you from Indigo via the short wave radio, a network of volunteer ham operators, the internet, flickr, and blogspot. Kind of arcane, kind of cutting edge. This is practice: we hope to be able to send blog updates and paintings and sketches even when we are in remote locations.
