Eve of Departure

Getting ready for a Monday departure. Imagining the sparseness of a simple on-board life, we are chagrined to find ourselves surrounded by the clutter and confusion of packing. Mt. St. Helens puffs smoke in the waning evening light, moon rises nearly full.

Mac and Catherine

Sounds great! I wish that I didn't get as sea sick as I do. I would love to go sailing again for a week or so.

I am sure that my mother has informed you as to my latest adventures, but just in case...

I quit my job last week and am headed to SE Asia (Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam) for two months this summer. I am going to be gone from July 4 to August 30. It should be an amazing trip. I am going to do a whole bunch of scuba diving and see as much archaeology as I can.

By the way, when are you guys going to make your way down here to the South Pacific? The Cook, Society, and Tuamotu Archipelagos are increadible. ;)
